#2 Use Cold Water Unless Sanitizing
Unless you are sanitizing items, (which then you should use the sanitize cycle), cold is fine to get your clothes clean, and is better for most fabrics.

When you think of a lifetime of using the disposable cotton rounds to remove your makeup and wipe astringent across your face... that’s a lot of disposed pads!
Sadly, it takes years for makeup wipes to breakdown in a landfill, which is where they are most likely to end up. And flushing them is even worse. According to the FDA, disposable wipes are made from a combination of polyester, polypropylene, cotton, wood pulp, and rayon fibers, most of these are not biodegradable. These wipes might also contain other ingredients, such as preservatives to prevent the growth of bacteria and molds.
That's why we love reusable cotton rounds. They are made of cotton, and can be used with any makeup remover, toner or micellar water. Just wash in your machine with the included zip-close laundry bag, and reuse.
Try these Tips to Make Your Reusable Cotton Rounds Last:
The fabric on these is super soft and they come in an assortment of cheery colors. Use these as an alternative to make up wipes to take your cleansing routine to a new level. Each set comes with 8 or 16 rounds and includes a laundry bag. Shop Now

Why? I thought dryer balls would be expensive, my clothes would be stiff and clingy, and I’d just end up throwing them away. But since making the switch, I’ve never gone back.
Great reasons to switch:
If that’s not enough to convince you, consider the negative effects. Dryer sheets contain harmful chemicals called quanternary ammonium compounds that get onto your clothing, your skin, and into our water system. They can make towels less absorbent and reduce the wicking capabilities of athletic wear.
To use, just put 3 or 5 balls into your dryer. To add a little scent, I just drop a little bit of my favorite essential oil (lavender or eucalyptus) onto the dryer balls every few loads.
Choose from sets of 4 or 6 in grey or white. Each set comes with a handy cotton storage bag. Shop Now
